Euroopa keskpank teatas eile neljapäeval, 11. juunil, et kergitas intressimäära 25 baaspunkti võrra. Keskne hoiustamise määr on nüüd 2,25 protsenti.
Intressitõusu põhjendatakse Iraani sõjast tingitud hinnatõusuga 3,2 protsendini maikuus. Intressitõus tähendab, et laenamine läheb kallimaks.
See oli esimene intressitõus alates 2023. aastast ja räsib veelgi niigi nõrka majandust.
