Eestis on käimas NATO õppus Bold Dragon, milles osalevad sõjaväelased mitmetest NATO riikidest, kaasa arvatud Taanist, Prantsusmaalt ja Suurbritanniast.
Õppusel osaleb kokku 2300 sõjaväelast eri riikidest.
Briti vägede kolonelleitnant Ru Streatfeild ütles uudistekanalile PA News, et Euroopa piire ollakse valmis sajaprotsendiliselt kaitsma.
Streatfeild lisas, et lisaks sõjalisele ja poliitilisele tähendusele on NATO ka midagi muud: need on Lääne liberaalsed väärtused ja sõnavabadus. Lääne norm on see, et sa võid osta omale maja ja auto, ja NATO on neid kaitsmas.
