Maailma Terviseorganisatsioon WHO märgib, et praegu pole tõendeid selle kohta, et need, kes on koroonaviiruse põhjustatud COVID-19 haiguse läbi põdenud ja kel on antikehad ei võiks uuesti nakatuda.
WHO lisab, et inimestel tekivad COVID-19 läbipõdemisel antikehad, aga osal inimestel on veres antikehi väga vähe.
Praegu püüab WHO välja selgitada, kas antikehad tekitavad immuunsuse koroonaviiruse vastu ja kui kaua see immuunsus kestab.
