USA president Donald Trump andis sotsiaalmeedias teada, et laseb üldse lõunapoolse piiri Mehhikoga sulgeda, kui demokraadid ei anna nõusolekut rahaeralduseks müüri ehituseks.
Trumpi väitel on näiteks Iisraelis müür end 99,9-protsendiliselt õigustanud ja teisiti ei saa olla USA-ga.
Trump märkis ka seda, et tahab lisaks müüri ehitusele autotootmise tagasi USA-sse tuua ja naasta sellega tagasi NAFTA-leppe eelsesse aega.
