Soome valitsus on edastanud parlamendile eelnõu, millega tahetakse keelata suitsetamine mänguväljakutel ja ujumisrandades.
Lisaks tahetakse suitsupakkidele kehtestada nn plain packaging ehk jaemüügi pakendite muutmine ühesuguseks, vahendab Iltalehti.
Suitsupakkidelt kaovad kõik sildid ja logod. Pakendite välimusele hakkavad kehtima eraldi nõuded. Eelnõuga tahetakse vähendada tubakatoodete atraktiivsust, nii et noored ei hakkaks suitsetama.
Eraldi maitsega tubakatooted keelatakse, samuti lubata enam kasutada lisaaineid. Sellised maitsed on näiteks šokolaad, maasikas ja mentool. Lõhnad ja maitsed jäävad keelatuks ka e-sigarettide puhul.
Lisaks peavad tubakatoodete tootjad ja maaletoojad hakkama maksma iga-aastast järelvalvemaksu, mis sõltub müüdud toodete arvust. Järelvalvemaks puudutab ka vedelikke. Muutused peaks jõustuma pärast üleminekuaja lõppu 1. jaanuaril 2023. aastal.
Soomes karmistati tubakaseadust 13. aprillil 2022. Tubakatoodete, e-sigarettide ja täiteampullide pakenditelt kaovad kaubamärgi tunnused ja logod. Eesmärk on vähendada tubakatoodete atraktiivsust eelkõige noorte jaoks. Muudatusettepanekud tegi valitsus ja need kiitis heaks president.
