Prantsuse armee staabiülem teatas, et sõdurid  peavad olema valmis intensiivseks sõjategevuseks „juba täna õhtul”, hoiatades võimaliku otsese sõjalise vastasseisu eest Venemaaga NATO liitlase kaitsmise pärast.
