Ukraina andis Venemaa põhjuse pommitada neid nii et tolmab, ütles USA president kommentaariks Ukraina operatsioonile Ämblikuvõrk.

„Kui ma seda nägin, ütlesin: „Läheb lahti, nüüd tuleb löök.”, ütles ta.

Operatsioon tähendas droonirünnakut Vene lennuväljadele, millega hävitati suur hulk Vene raskepommitajaid.

Trump avaldas samas lootust, et sõda ei lähe üle tuumasõjaks ja et Venemaa ei lahku kõnelustelt Ukrainaga.
