Nagu selgub, sõitis USA presidendi Lähis-Ida eriesindaja Steve Witcoff Moskvasse, et tuua sealt ära ameeriklasest vang Marc Fogel.
Tegemist on Pittsburgist pärit õpetajaga, kes Venemaal kinni võeti ja vangistati.
Tema vabastamine on väidetavalt Venemaa poolt hea tahte märk, et jõuda USA-ga kokkuleppele Ukraina sõja osas.
