USA lõunaosas New Orleans’is sõitis auto aastavahetust tähistanud inimeste hulka. Vähemalt 10 inimest on hukkunud ja 30 saanud vigastada.
Autojuht avas pärast rahvamassi sõitmist inimeste pihta tule. Asjast teatas teiste seas CBC News, mille andmetel sõitis pikap-auto suurel kiirusel rahva sekka.
Pärast seda väljus autojuht autost ja hakkas tulistama. Väidetavalt tulistas politsei juhti.
Esialgsetel andmetel on rünnakus hukkunud vähemalt kümme ja vigastada saanud 30 inimest, teatas New Orleansi linn.
Tulistamine toimus turistide seas populaarses piirkonnas New Orleansi Prantsuse kvartalis Bourbon Streetil.
Kommentaarides märgitakse, et inimesed lootsid, et uus aasta tuleb parem kui eelmine.
