Iraan tulistas tänase teisipäeva, 1. oktoobri õhtul Iisraeli suunas välja ballistiliste rakettide laine, mida on näha suuremate linnade kohal.
Iisraeli meedia teatel tulistati teisipäeval riigi pihta 100 raketti ja tsiviilisikutele anti käsk varjuda.
Sotsiaalmeedias on info koguni tuhandete rakettide kohta, mis lendasid Iisraeli eri sihtmärkide suunas.
Sotsiaalmeediasse pandud videos on näha ridamisi plahvatusi maa peal. Videotest tuleb välja, et Iisraeli kaitsesüsteem Iron Dome ei suutnud rakette alla tulistada.
USA teatas varem, et aitab Iisraeli kaitsta ja on suunanud oma fookuse üle riigi.
USA kõrge ametnik hoiatas ka „raskete tagajärgede” eest Iraanile, kui otsene rünnak Iisraeli vastu peaks toimuma.
