Iisraael alustas täna esmaspäeval, 23. septembril Liibanoni lauspommitamist. Põhjuseks tuuakse võitlus Liibanoni sõjalise rühmitusega Hezbollah.
Muu hulgas pommitatakse pealinna Beirutit. Liibanonis on hukkunud sadu, vigastatud tuhandeid inimesi.
Kardetakse, et Liibanoni tabab Gaza saatus, kus terve riik tehakse maatasa.
