Iisraeli tabas pühapäeva, 8. oktoobri õhtul uus ulatuslik raketirünnak, mis oli vastus Iisraeli rünnakule Gazas.
Gazast tulistati välja sadu rakette Iisraeli rahvusvahelise Ben Gurioni lennuvälja ja Ashkeloni linna suunas. Samal ajal olid lennuväljale maandumas kaks Poola sõjaväe transpordilennukit.
Ashkeloni linnas olid purustused.
Videos on näha Iisraeli õhutõrjet rakette kinni püüdmas.
