Täna teisipäeval, 19. jaanuaril oli eestlasest laulja Laura esmaesitlus Soome eurovisiooni eelvoorus, mis kannab nime Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (tõlkes: Uue muusika võistlus).

Paaril varasemal aastal on Soomes esindaja eurovisioonil välja valitud ilma konkursita, sel korral toimub konkurss ja Laural on šansid Soomet esindada.

Laura lugu kannab nime Play ja see jutustab inimsuhetest, kus üks osapool on väsinud pidevast tagasi tulemisest ja andestamisest. Laura ütles, et ta loodab, et see lugu annab kuulajatele jõudu.

Laura osaleb võistluse finaalis 20. veebruaril Tamperes Mediapolises, kus selgub Soome esindaja Eurovisioonil, vahendab Yle.

Kokku osaleb konkursil 7 artsiti-ansamblit: Oskr, Teflon Brothers x Pandora, Danny, Laura, Aksel, Blind Channel ja Ilta.
