Maailma Terviseorganisatsioon WHO hoiatas täna reedel, et Euroopast on saanud uus koroonaviiruse epitsenter, kus uusi tuvastatud nakatumisi on juba rohkem kui oli Hiinas viirusepuhangu kõrgajal.

Euroopa selline tase on ohtlik seetõttu, et Euroopas elab vaid 740 miljonit inimest võrreldes Hiina 1,4 miljoniga. WHO peadirektor Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus tunnistas, et Euroopast on saanud koroonaviiruse epitsenter.
