Helsingi-Tallinna liinile suunduva uue Tallinki laeva nimeks valiti ligi 3000 kandidaadi hulgast MySTAR.
Nimepakkumisi saadeti ligi 30 riigist üle terve maailma. Suurem osa tuli siiski Soomest ja konkursi võitja on samuti soomlane Marietta Kähärä, vahendab Iltalehti.
Võitnud nime valis kandidaatide seast välja ettevõtte juhtkond. Pakutud nimede hulgas olid näiteks Speedy Gonzales, Great Finland, Queen Suomi, Suomenlinna, Mega Tallsinki Express, King Kong ja Sibelius.
Laeva ehitamine algab Soomes ettevõttes Rauma Marine Constructions 2020. aastal. Laev peaks valmis saama 2021. aasta lõpuks.
Viking Line’i uue Hiinas valmiva laeva nimi valiti samuti konkursi korras ja selleks sai Viking Glory. Laev hakkab sõitma Turu-Stockholmi liinil.
