Veebis liikuva info põhjal oli tegemist aktiivsete videoblogijatega, kes eile päeval jõid otse eetris aluspesu väel viina ehk harrastasid tegevust, mille kohta Soomes öeldakse – kalsarikännit. Noored olid silmnähtavalt purjus, nii et õieti ei seisnud püstigi.
Eile öösel kella 3.40 ajal oli üles pandud video, kus on näha, et noored lähevad tuikudes auto juurde ja istuvad Audisse. Noored said mõne minuti sõita, kui otse-eetris on näha, et auto sõidab teelt välja ja pilt katkeb. Video on nähtav Daily Maili veebis.
Autost ei jäänud pärast teelt väljasõitu suurt midagi alles. Politsei info kohaselt oli kiirus olnud nii suur, et isegi turvavööd rebenesid katki.
Laupäeva õhtul sõitsid kaks autot Espoos Länsiväyläl võidu ja see lõppes raske õnnetusega. Kaks autot sõitsid Matinkylä juures Helsingi suunas kella 21.10 ajal õhtul. Autode kiirus oli ligi 140 km/h.
